Tell us a little bit about yourself, who is behind Infinity Allure?

So im in London girl, living and loving the GC! I moved to Australia, Perth, a few years ago with my partner and after a couple of years there we felt like it wasn’t ‘home’ for us, so packed our bags and moved to the GC and we couldn’t be happier as now I feel like I am home.

I try and live a healthy lifestyle and like to work out because my lifes moto is I train to eat cake… and boy do I love a good cake! I am still exploring everything the GC has to offer and loving every minute of it!

Tell us about your business + work, what services do you offer at Infinity Allure?

Infinity Allure is a home based business currently offering eyelash extensions and cosmetic tattooing.

Eyelash extensions allow you to wake up with perfect eyelashes day after day that enhance the eyes and

really make them stand out. Whereas cosmetic tattooing enables you to have face defining brows, that do

not smudge or come off throughout the day (which is massively important to a lot of us women). Eye

dazzling eyeliner, or some lip definition with a great lip liner.

How did you come to having a career in eyelash extensions + cosmetic tattooing?

I got into my eyelash extensions and cosmetic tattoo career because I wear eyelashes and have had my

eyebrows tattooed and thought… wow I want to know how to do this!

I remember the feeling after each and every treatment I have had, and its an instant feeling of happiness

and a big confidence boost. So I wanted to be able to give this feeling to other women and enable them

to feel how I feel after each treatment. I will never get tired of my clients reactions, infact I wish I could video everyone of them! As their smiles make me happy!

Are eyelash extensions just for a special occasion or are they for everyday wear?

Eyelash extensions can be tailored and applied to each individual clients preference. I have 70 year

old clients, who have very few eyelashes left and therefore like a natural look. Where as some of

my younger clientelle like them a more noticeable, longer look. I myself like my eyelashes to look

like mascara, so opt for a very short lash length, this way it keeps people guessing whether I am or

am not wearing eyelash extensions.

Is cosmetic tattooing permanent + who would benefit from the look of cosmetic tattooing?

Cosmetic Tattooing is semi permanent makeup. The tattoo pigments that are used on the facial

area are made of Iron Oxides (A mineral found in the body). Therefore over time (18-24 months on

average), our bodies start to use up this Iron and the colour gently fades.

Everyone could benefit from cosmetic tattooing… whether that someone is someone with lots of

hair or not a lot, a daily eyeliner wearer, or someone who wants more definition on their lips. At the

end of the day it is all down to how my client feels and what makes them happiest.

You have your business based at home. What benefits does this allow for the clients?

Having a business based at home means my clients get to relax in a tranquil environment and get the one to one attention every client deserves. I offer a very professional and realiable service and genuinly care about my clients.

Being home based also means I coordinate my diary and can therefore offer flexible appointments for my clients, furthermore none of my clients have to worry about the dreaded search for a parking space in a busy mall.

What is it that you love about your job?

I love the feeling that I can give to others. We are not all blessed with the best brows, or longest, blackist eyelashes, or even well defined lips… and being able to give something so simple yet so effective is such a rewarding feeling.

They eyes are described as ‘the window to your soul’, how do you feel about this description?

I couldn’t agree more… The eyes are such stunning things to look at… so why wouldn’t you want to enhance them if given the chance?

If you could work your magic on any celebrity, who would your choose?

I am awful when it comes to celebrities… as im not a big celeb follower. I prefer working magic on

every day ladies… I think we deserve it more ;)

A typical day for you involves?

Rolling out of bed and into my gym (yes I have one of these at home too)… anialating myself for

about an hour…. Shower… brekky and then get set up for my first client. Stop for lunch, then more

clients. I usually finish by 7ish… and have a beautiful man waiting for me with something gorgeous

he has cooked for dinner.

What is the best part about working on Infinity Allure?

It is my business…. So everything I do or achieve is because I have made that happen.

…..and the hardest?

Growing…. Being a home business I rely on my clients for referrals or spending money on

advertising…. But I know Rome wasn’t built in a day. So I am just thankful for where I am at now after only being in the GC for 4 months.

What are your dreams for Infinity Allure? Where would you like to see Infinity Allure in 12 months/ 5 years?

Over the next few years I want to continue to grow my clientelle and continue to offer a realiable and personable service for my clients.

I am currently I the process of training as a teacher for cosmetic tattooing… so in a few years time I will be teaching and mentoring new practitioners too!

What advice do you have for others who are dreaming about starting their own small business?

There are many competitors out there, offering the same or similar services… but don’t look at the competition as a threat… aspire to be the best at what you do and look at it as a goal.

Most importantly, how can people get YOU to work on their eyes, brows + face?

Get in touch! I am a solo practitioner, so you know that by contacting me it will be me who works

on you… not one of my apprentices or staff.

About you

Your new to the Gold Coast, what is your previous life + work background?

Im orginally from London and moved to Australia in 2013. I have been doing eyelashes for the

last 6 years and then added Cosmetic tattooing to my resume a few years ago. Before I moved to

Australia and made beauty my full time career I used to do it part time along side my personal

training business. Another role which is all about looking food and feeling great.

Who do you look up to? Who inspires you?

I look up to my partner… he is a truly inspirational person and I am very lucky to have him there to guide and support me.

Where is your favourite place to visit on the Gold Coast?

Ahhh there are so many it is hard to pick just one… But I do love Currumbin Creek and Kirra. They

are both so gorgeous and a world apart from growing up in London.

Favourite place to eat on the Gold Coast?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Goa Indian Fusion in Main Beach…. However I am always up for trying

somewhere new.

What are your favourite Gold Coast made businesses?

Oh that’s a toughy…. There are so many great Gold Coast made businesses I really do think it

would be unfair to name just one!
