About PS With Luv
Tell us a little bit about yourself, who is behind PS with Luv?
Ps With Luv is family owned and operated. It is an opportunity for each of us to use our unique talents and explore our creativity.
How did PS with Luv come about?
The idea was born when I wanted to send a gift to my teenage daughter who was studying
overseas and our only options were flowers, chocolate and alcohol. We wanted to find something
that was practical and organic so that she could enjoy it beyond the moment. It has been a seed
in the making for a long time.
What is your inspiration behind PS with Luv?
Meeting Daintree Naturals Skincare Director Justine Murray five years ago changed my life. The
homegrown skincare range is just amazing and sourced from all local organic ingredients. All my
children have skin sensitivities therefore we have to be careful of store bought products and
chemicals in them. We wanted to find quality natural products which don’t cost the earth and are
affordable. I was so inspired by the quality and how long they last that I wanted to share the range
with the world! We decided that her range was perfect to combine with other local products so
we could create a total gift pack that would be healthy from the inside out, essentially creating a
personal gift that cared about the recipient.
Tell us about your products?
We are passionate about organic products and hand crafted items that appeal to the conscious shopper. Our products are perfect for people who may have skin concerns or sensitivities.
You source the products for the gift baskets locally, why is this important to you?
We believe in a community that supports local economy and celebrates each other’s talents for mutual success. This has motivated us to explore what other homegrown talents there are at many GC Markets and in our GC local community.
A typical day for you involves?
Working fulltime for Social Enterprise in a community organisation with people of all abilities, then home to be creative with lots and lots of hands onplanning and making orders!
What is the best part about working on PS with Luv ?
Discovering new local talent, new products, meeting new people who share our passion and finding new gift ideas!
…..and the hardest?
Choosing which products we will use to create new hamper and gift ideas (there are so many to choose from) and how we will bring them together. Each week we are constantly meeting new people and realising that the GC just has so much to offer with homegrown talent. People who make their own natural candles, organic soaps & hand made crafts.
