You might have seen these fun little round boats coasting around the canals but what are they? The coasters are a roomy round boat with plenty of space for 10 guests with a central ice tray or BBQ station - with the round design creating the perfect social circle.

Each coaster is equipped with a bluetooth speaker system, shade sail umbrella that is big enogh to shade all your guests, you can BYO your food & drink using the ice box provided and it's self drive - no licence required!

Essentially, the coasters are a floating lounge. They are super social and perfect for a relaxing day on the water. Operator Nathan Corker has been surprised at his varied range of clientele, from high end business meetings with a twist, hens and bucks parties and birthday gatherings through to an afternoon with the boys watching the footy and a ladies wine & sheese high tea! Anything goes in these coasters.

With a fleet of three boats, it's possible to host up to 30 passengers or just hire one for a more intimate outing. Therfe are two launch locations - Budds Beach or Marina Mirage - and hire options from 1 hour throiugh to full day hire. It's also possible to have Bumbles Cafe cater your cruise or you are welcome to self cater with an Esky available free of charge.

What happens when three local creative women turn their dreams into a collective reality? Welcome to Never.Ever.Studio - an inspired space the whole Gold Coast community will be able to use and enjoy!

With three separate businesses calling Never.Ever.Studios home, it could be easy for this space to become a confusing patchwork of ideas but the vision is clear says co-founder Caz, "the collective vision is to have a collaborative space where events can be held which will offer the community a diverse range of workshops, music events and inspiring and a backstage hub for designers and retailers to use for photography and styling"
"The space we are creating is a hub for creatives. We have two separate spaces (both works in progress). One will be for fashion with a photographic studio which will be available to hire with props, styling and photographers available depending on the packages that are selected. We hope to provide a space for dreamers and designers - somewhere they can come to create their fashion look books, their online images and their flat lays!"
"We will also be holding some fashion, warehouse and sample sales here. The space next door will be used in conjunction with The Laneway Official to hold events, ranging from music events to intimate ramen nights and maybe even the odd film night"

The little lane of Karen Ave in Mermaid Beach is fast becoming an entrepreneurial hub with several diverse small businesses now calling the street home. Take a stroll and you will discover hidden gems such as Koko Coffee Roasters, The Borrowed Nursery & 19 KAREN.

To officially welcome Never.Ever.Studios to the Gold Coast landscape, the girls are throwing open their doors and hosting a warehouse sale and designer rack rummage with local designers such as The Gypsy and the Officer, Waikini Swim and Carlabella selling their wares - just to name a few.

Save Lives Donate Organs launches its SLDO|Assist program

Gold Coast charity Save Lives Donate Organs recently launched its SLDO|Assist program to benefit patients currently waiting for a transplant or those who are being treated for an illness which will require a transplant.
While raising public awareness regarding organ donation remains SLDO's mission, founder Brett Bullock is excitied to take this next step. The financial grant will act as a lifeline for those struggling with the cost of day to day living whilst living with chronic illness.
